Town Lake Park
Pittsboro’s first park and once the town’s water supply, this 36-acre park features the beautiful Town Lake. The trails are worth the effort as the most interesting vistas are off the beaten path.

Parks are open to the public 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset, year-around. Please refrain from park use after dark.
Yes: Pets should be leashed at all times. Please remove pet waste from the trail and grass and dispose of it in one of the pet waste disposal bins around the park. Carry a collapsible water bowl for your pets while walking in the park to ensure they stay hydrated. Note everyone is comfortable around dogs – keep your dog close to you and stay alert to others.
