Rock Ridge Park & Disc Golf Course
Rock Ridge Park & Disc Golf Course
Rock Ridge Park is a 52-acre neighborhood park set amongst the rolling hills of mature hardwoods. It features a half-mile asphalt walking trail, a picnic shelter, a mini-amphitheater, a natural wood play fort, and a popular eighthy foot zip line. In addition, the park hosts the top-ranked disc golf course of the Triangle and Triad Areas. Designed by John Houck, this par 65 course features seven par fours and two par fives including the signature 740 foot hole Number 17 which highlights the park’s namesake rock outcroppings. A fun and challenging course for professionals and amateurs alike.
Parks are open to the public 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset, year-around. Please refrain from park use after dark.
Yes: Pets should be leashed at all times. Please remove pet waste from the trail and grass and dispose of it in one of the pet waste disposal bins around the park. Carry a collapsible water bowl for your pets while walking in the park to ensure they stay hydrated. Note everyone is comfortable around dogs – keep your dog close to you and stay alert to others.
