DESCRIPTION

Paul Braxton Park is open from sunrise to sunset and has a variety of amenities for park patrons to recreate. The park is located near downtown Siler City and includes the Earl B. Fitts Community Center and Paul Braxton Soccer Field.

Indoor facilities must be rented at least 72 hours before the event for a minimum of 2 hours. Outdoor fields that need field prep for rentals require 24 hours’ notice. Reservations can be made in person at City Hall or online.

Features a soccer field, basketball court, a community center, and the new Chatham County Yardbirds ballfield. There is a gravel parking lot located northwest of the new baseball field. Street parking is also available. Paul Braxton Park includes a soccer field that may be rented and reserved. The rental fee is $30 per hour or $40 per hour with lights.

Wheelchair-accessible parking is available behind the community center.

Leashed, well-behaved pets are allowed. Please clean up after your pets.

All posted park rules must be followed at all times. No alcohol, drugs, tobacco products, fireworks, or weapons on premises.
