Deep River Park & Camelback Truss Bridge covers 4 acres, with picnic tables, scenic views, and canoe access. Originally constructed in 1908, the Camelback Truss Bridge spans the Deep River, and after undergoing many reconstructions and renovations through 1991, today it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the North Carolina Transportation Hall of Fame.

The Chatham Sports Alliance is the first point of contact for all questions regarding Deep River Park and Camelback Truss Bridge. Some events hosted here include weddings and paddling excursions.
